Sergei does worry me. He disappeared during the playoffs last year and is fading down the stretch. If he disappears again this year then I think the Preds need to cut ties in the off-season. There's no reason to have a guy in the lineup that can't perform at pressure time. I'm sure they could get a decent return for him simply based on his regular season numbers.

Obviously, I'd rather this not happen. I'd like to see that line return to its earlier form. Another option for me, if the Preds have nothing to play for tonight, is to experiment with Rads/Fisher/Erat and put the two Brostitsyns on Legwand's line. I'd also like to see Wilson back in the lineup, but my guess is Tootoo and Yip will play tonight.

Is it not yet clear that Radulov is a #1 line player? Replacing SK74 on the Fisher-Erat line makes all the sense in the world. If for no other reason, Radulov THRIVES, on the big, important moments and he will not be the one doing a disappearing act in the playoffs. It turns that line in to one scary one to match up against, let the rest of the line up give Barry Trotz his balance.

Rads needs a finisher too, though - while he himself can score, his vision needs a true finisher and Fish can do that. I agree, put him up top, bump Sergei to with his brother and Leggy, and let the rest sort itself.

Agreed. But, Erat can finish too when he wants to. He always ramps it up more in the playoffs, boneheaded, blind, backward into the slot passes, not withstanding!

Anyone know exactly how wins are awarded? Say Pekka plays the first, leaves with a lead, and Lindy comes in and maintains for 2 periods, who gets the win? I only really care because a win by Rinne would be huge for my fantasy finals. If it weren't for that I'd say bring Pickard back and don't even dress Rinne.

ZP is an UFA just like his best friend #20. Wilson will not be a pred next year. DP must not been 100% on Radu coming back at the deadline or Willy would have been dealt. Maybe Willy will yield more at the draft.

Agreed. The important thing is that publicly, Wilson is saying all the right things.

Btw, it's so nice to watch a Preds game with ZERO pressure to win. I love it.
